Plasma Pen Liverpool

Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International is a soft surgery, non-invasive procedure that will be performed using CE/TGA approved equipment and best practice safety and hygiene techniques to shrink, tighten, lift and rejuvenate the skin using a sterile disposable probe.

How does it work?

Plasma Pen treatment targets fibroblasts, which are collagen- and protein-producing cells in the dermis (the layer just below the outermost skin layer). Fibroblasts help maintain the firmness and tightness of the skin, as well as heal wounds on the skin.

Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh creates nitrogen plasma gas. During the treatment, the energy collects on the surface of the barrier, and ionized plasma gas is safely released from about 1mm above the skin. This transfers to the epidermal layer of skin to create superficial trauma and plasma fibroblasts.

After a Plasma Pen treatment, the treated area is visibly smoother, fine lines and deeper wrinkles are reduced. Any acne scarring is smoothed.

The results are almost instant, and in some cases last up to three years.

Why do we need Plasma Pen?

Just like the scaffolding of a building then, over time, it will begin to weaken and rust, it will loses its flexibility and strength and, increasingly it will become
unable to bear the load it was originally designed to support. It will eventually buckle, sag and collapse. This is similar to what occurs in our skin.

As we age, the scaffolding of our skin deteriorates which causes it to wrinkle  and sag. Our dermal layer thins, we produce less and less collagen, we lose laxity and texture and the elastin that underpins our skins elasticity (not least by cross-linking with collagen just like the brackets on a scaffold) begin to wear out, deform, and ‘slide’ over the collagen fibrils. This prevents them from maintaining a solid structure.

Take some time. Treat yourself. You deserve it.
